If you’ve only visited the Hamptons in the summertime, and you’re wondering what it’s like in the fall, we’ve got news for you: It’s pretty damn nice. (See photo above, of Main Street in East Hampton.)

The East End’s favorite spa and seawater resort has been sharing a steady stream of enviable pics (like this one, below) on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And by the way, it’s also prepping for winter: Its ocean-front ice skating rink is open.

We’re happy to see that the Sagaponack purveyor of gourmet take-out, which recently lost founder Anna Pump in a tragic accident, has re-opened. Pump’s family also runs Loaves & Fishes Cookshop and the Bridgehampton Inn in Bridgehampton.
Starbucks Schmarbucks. This Southampton java shop can make you its own homemade pumpkin latte.
4. Lobster Roll
Technically, the roadside seafood
shack institution in Amagansett is closed for the season, except for Hollywood types: A new season of Showtime’s “The Affair” is filming there. But meanwhile, Lobster Roll is sharing some lovely ideas for fall in the Hamptons, such as long walks.
And we give props to this East End candle company for sharing a video of our favorite fall pastime: A fire in the fireplace!
