Happy Week-Almost-Over! And hello, beach balls and summer fun. Coming up this weekend, it is the 10th anniversary of Solé East resort in Montauk (pictured above), which really should be celebrated while floating on an air mattress, Gatsby-style. Or, failing that, with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and a signature cocktail, which will be offered from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. There will also be live music, courtesy of the Montauk Music Festival. And perhaps we buried the lede: The Montauk Music Festival is also going on this weekend. Here’s the line-up.

Did someone say peach pie?

Our friends at One Healthy Hamptons, the website dedicated to healthy living, have compiled a 2016 guide to Hamptons farmers markets and farm stands. We are pleased about this, because 1.) we’re fans of local produce and 2.) now we don’t need to compile the list ourselves. That’s right, we’re lazy localvores. So if you’re wondering where to go to buy fresh rhubarb, locally grown strawberries and a dizzying array of tomatoes, just check out OHH’s 2016 Farmers Markets and Farm Stands Guide. And incidentally, Hamptons Wellness Week, organized by OHH’s Kiley DeMarco and Anastasia Gavalas, is scheduled for June 5 – 12. This is when you get discounts for doing healthy things, like eating at Sabrosa Mexican Grill (which sounds easier than core strength classes).

And don’t forget to spit the seeds

Speaking of farmers markets, Hamptons Gym Corp. of Sag Harbor reminds us that watermelon, which is almost in season, is good for us. “Watermelon is an excellent source of carotenoid pigment, lycopene and is more potent than raw red tomato,” the gym says, posting this photo to Facebook. Plus, who doesn’t like watermelon? (We added that part.) Holla.

Quick takes…

Who needs a helicopter when you can take the Cannoball? The LIRR announces the return of everybody’s favorite express train, starting May 27…

JBYoga/Jessica Bellofatto is organizing a mini-retreat featuring three “blissful” days of yoga, SUP, meditation and relaxation — and we can only hope, delicious organic cocktails — in Montauk from June 8 – 10. Rates from $900 per person; details here

Dancehampton, the East Hampton dance studio owned by Kelly Hren, will present “Places Everyone!” on June 10 – 11 at East Hampton High School. We hope tap dancing is involved.

Social Media Quote of the Day

“How we feel about the 4 hrs of traffic we just sat in on the LIE.” — Joey Wolffer, co-owner of Wolffer Estates and creator of The Styliner boutiques, posting this adorable photo on Instagram that perfectly captures disgruntlement. We have passengers that look like this, just after a trip to Bridgehampton Commons.
