Happy Tuesday! You know what they say….it’s beach time, somewhere. And right now, it’s beach time in the Hamptons. Here’s a recent shot (above) of Indian Wells beach in Amagansett, courtesy of Obligato, the women’s boutique in East Hampton. We note that Obligato also sells this shirt — “Cute But Psycho But Cute” — which we really should wear the next time we’re stuck in summer traffic…

Happy Thursday! Well, this sign in White’s Apothecary, the beauty-supply shop in East Hampton, is simple and to the point. Shop small, all. Isn’t it glorious to step off the Jitney and not be greeted by a big-box store? And yes, we love big-name beauty-supply store Sephora (which has many locations in the city) but it’s owned by LVMH…

Happy Tuesday! We’ve been saying that it’s summer for weeks, but now (as of yesterday) it’s officially summer. There are approximately 17 hours of light each day, a marked improvement over December. There’s also a full strawberry moon, because it’s the beginning of strawberry season, naturally. And of course, there are lemonade stands staffed by young entrepreneurs…like this one (above) that we spotted while biking to Louse Point over the weekend. (Hopefully the same fate that befell…
